Hungry in N17 at lunchtime but sick of eating junk food? So were we……

We are Renee and Kate, two locals with young families who said no to unhealthy fast food and set up our own café, Filling the Gap N17, serving healthy, homemade and affordable food.

1.What’s for Lunch?

Our menu changes every week……

We receive a list of available items from Fareshare on Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning, and then receive a delivery from then sometime on Wednesday afternoon- I usually have an Idea about what I am going to cook by Thursday, as soon as I know I will post it here!

14/3 MENU: Pork, garlic , cider and cream sauce, somerset stew with all served with mash and green beans, Banoffee pie and victoria sponge for dessert .

We have moved !! Our new venue is The Engine Room, 109 Vickers Court, waterside way N17 9FT. We are very excited about our new venue and the different opportunities and partnerships that it will open up for us! Come and see us there .

We have FREE facepainting EVERY week for the little ones by MANGOZOOKIDS   a very talented facepainting company.

Cooking on a Budget Course Starting 16th January @ Bruce Grove Primary School 9.30-11.30 am

3.Eat in or take away?

We’d love for you to join us in our little café but if you can’t stay, then why not grab a healthy take away? We can offer you the same delicious main courses, along with salad and our star bread of the week, home-baked, of course, for £3.50. Because we care about waste, all our packaging is biodegradable, so please try to recycle after you’ve finished.
